Obituary

FRANKLIN – Richard “Dick” Frost, 91, of 24 Gillette Street, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at The Golden Crest Senior Resort in Franklin surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 2, 1924 in Easthampton, MA, the son of the late Alice (Lahaie) Frost. He had lived in Laconia since 1955. Dick attended schools in Massachusetts, graduating early due to his enlistment in the US Navy, serving in World War II. Dick was a communicant of St. Andre Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart Church in Laconia. He worked as a salesperson for Salta Tire, retiring after several years there. After retiring, he worked part time driving the courtesy van for Cantin Chevrolet. Dick volunteered hundreds of hours at St. Vincent de Paul as well as driving cancer patients to treatments at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Concord. He was a lifetime member of the Laconia Elks #876.
He is survived by one son, Timothy A. Frost and his fiancé Janie of Auburn, NH, three daughters; Helene L. Frost of CT., Marsha Holliston and her husband Bob of WA. and Denise M. Heath and her husband Ed of Franklin, one sister, Eleanor Prybylo of MA., six grandchildren; Jason Holliston and his wife Danica of OR., Christopher Frost and his wife Elissa, Erica Cole-Tucker and her husband Hale, Matthew Alder and his fiancé Sabrina, Andrew Heath and his wife Nicki, and Jessica Heath, all of NH, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and his special friend, Rita Nelson and her family. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his wife, Jeannine (Richard) Frost in 1998.
Calling hours will be held from 4Pm to 7Pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Andre Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia.

A private burial will be held in St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford, Maine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Crest Activities Fund, 29 Baldwin Street, Franklin, NH 03235.
