Gerald Ray Howton, 63, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Suburban Hospital.
Born in Central City, he worked at Louisville Cartage Company, where he was a truck driver, for 22 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Geneva JoAnn (Dennison) Howton; son, Scott A. Howton (Raydean); daughters, Mary Ann Bingham (Chris) and Penny Lynn Dean (Bryan); his mother, Willodean Givens; brother, Mike Howton; sister, Paula Howton; four grandchildren, Dusten Howton, Paige Bingham, Crystal Dean and Brittany Bingham; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren.
His funeral will be Tuesday 12:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Hebron Cemetery, Shepherdsville, KY.
Visitation will be Monday 2:00 to 8:00 pm.
