Lawrence W. Tower Jr., 55, of Hudson, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 15th at his residence.
Larry was born in Framingham, son of the late Lawrence W. Tower Sr. and Marilyn (Lovelace) Tower. He was raised in Stow where he attended local schools and was a 1978 graduate of Nashoba Regional High School. He was a self-employed carpenter in the home construction business for many years. Larry was a member; past President and held several other offices of the Hudson Eagles #643. He was a member of the Marlboro Eagles, Hudson Amvets and the Marlboro Moose Lodge.
Larry was a jack of all trades and truly enjoyed helping others. In his spare time he looked forward to fishing and visiting with friends and staff at Paul and Jerry’s in Hudson. He cherished and was always honored to donate his time to many local charities in the area. His giving spirit and unique personality will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sister Laurie Stephens and her husband Victor of Clinton; his two brothers, Richard Tower and his wife Phyllis of Boxborough and Scott Tower and his wife Chrissy of Arizona. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and loyal friends.
Family and friends are encouraged to attend a time of visitation to celebrate Larry’s life on Monday, Dec. 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
