Melissa Dean Wishum, 45, of Tifton passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Phoebe-Sumter Hospital in Americus. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Ms. Wishum will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 22, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 14, 1970 in Tifton, Ms. Wishum was the daughter of William Lee Wishum of Enigma and the late Edna Dean Rich Stallings. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed Lee and Dorothy Wishum and Virginia and Olan Wallace. She was very kind-hearted and would do anything in the world for you.
In addition to her father, Ms. Wishum is survived by a son, Ezra Baxter of Barnesville; a daughter, Melissa Baxter of Barnesville; a brother, Ray Kelly of Alabama; and a sister and brother-in-law, Angelia and Doug Archer of Enigma.
