Maria C. DeBrito, age 68, passed away on December 19, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in São Roque, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Ondina (DaSilva) Brito. Prior to retirement she worked as a CNA at various nursing homes.
Maria leaves behind her siblings Eduardo DeBrito, Berta DeFrias (husband Dinarte), Maria Dos Anjos Lopes, Antonio Brito (wife Gabriela), Theresa Lambert (husband George) and Luis Brito (wife Debbie) as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Wednesday with extended calling hours from 8:30-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
