Adeline (Caffarelli) Laundry, 89, of Milford formerly of Franklin, died December 18, in Milford Regional Medical Center.
Born in Milford, November 26, 1926, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Calzone) Caffarelli, Mrs. Laundry was raised in Milford and had lived for most of her life in Franklin prior to returning to Milford six years ago.
Mrs. Laundry had been an Administrator at Wrentham Developmental Center for 35 years before retiring.
Adeline enjoyed gardening, traveling, playing bingo and teaching her grandchildren to garden and to cook.
She is survived by her children, Alan Landry and his wife Cecilia of Springfield, Carole Siipola of Milford and Kimberly Bradshaw of Franklin.
She is also survived by her sister Nancy Bilodeau of New Bedford and the late Rose Caffarelli, Elizabeth Caffarelli, Marco Caffarelli, Matthew “Red” Caffarelli, Louis Caffarelli, George Caffarelli, Josephine Wenner and Frank Caffarelli.
Adeline is also survived by her grandchildren, Melissa Landry, Brooke Landry, and Christopher Landry, Morgan Siipola Lane, Michael Siipola and Samuel Bradshaw, and her great –grandchildren, Layla, Olivia, Rose and Thomas.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday December 22 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.gineyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 10:00.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
