Atty. John P. “Jack” Zelonis Jr., age 60, of Woburn passed away May 14th. Born in Torrington, CT he was the son of Ethel (Sonn) Zelonis of Torrington, CT and the late John P. Zelonis Sr.
He was a graduate of Torrington High School, Class of 1962, University of Connecticut at Storrs, Suffolk University Boston and Boston University. He had been a practicing Attorney in Boston since 1969. He was a member of the Conservation Commission in Woburn and volunteered at the local public television auction in Boston. He was also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He was a collector of coins and stamps and enjoyed traveling.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Joan Beauchaine and her husband William of Torrington, CT, two nieces, Bridget Ann Beauchaine and Jacqueline Cswerko and her husband Raymond of Torrington, CT. He is also survived by two great nephews, Raymond and William Cswerko of Torrington, CT. He was predeceased by his sister Kathleen Zelonis.
A memorial service will be conducted in the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn Sunday, June 12th, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
