Mrs. Jill J. (Ralph) Galluccio, a 10 year resident of Newburyport, formerly of Medford and beloved wife of Robert W. Galluccio, passed away, at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday morning, December 17, 2015. She was 76 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 21, 1939, she was the beloved daughter of the late Howard M. and Ruth (Jacobson) Ralph. Mrs. Galluccio was a graduate of Medford High School and had been employed as an Administrative Assistant to the Commissioner for the Departments of Mental Health and Youth Services in Boston, for many years. She enjoyed interior decorating, ceramics, shopping with her late mother and spending time with family and close friends. This past summer she loved spending each day sitting by the ocean at the boardwalk with her daughter. Above all, Jill enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Besides her beloved husband, Robert, she is survived by her loving children; Bill and his wife Lee Galluccio of Franklin and Kristin and her husband Thomas Spillane of Byfield, sister; Cheryl Myers of York, Maine, grandchildren; Sommer, Chloe, Justin, Liam, Max and Lily and her beloved grand-dogs; Ralphie and Daisy.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High Street, Medford on Monday, December 21, 2015, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Sunday, December 20, 2015, from 2 to 6 PM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
