Edna K. (Price) Manning - Of Dedham, June 7, age 89. Wife of the late William H. Manning who died in 1986 after 47 years of marriage. Devoted mother of William H. Manning Jr. and his wife Nancy of North Falmouth, Jane E. McGlame of Walpole, Robert A. Manning and his wife Linda of Franklin, John E. Manning and his wife Donna of Cape Coral, FL, Mary Anne Ray and her husband Michael of Canton, CT. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Sister of Albert Price of New Orleans, LA and the late Carol Knox and Mildred Murphy.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Susanna's Church, Dedham at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Born in Boston, raised in Dartmouth, MA where she graduated from high school in 1935. She earned her R.N. from Childrens Hospital in 1938. Retired in 1981 as Director of Nurses at the Weston Manor Nursing Home in Weston. A resident of Dedham for 53 years. Member of St. Susanna's Parish and Past President of St. Susanna's Womens Club. She was active in the Girl Scouts and the Riverdale School Pen Pal Club.
