Obituary

Robert L. Grondines, 62, of Woonsocket passed away peacefully Tuesday at home. He was the loving husband of Linda A. (Hoyceanlys) Grondines. They were married on July 23, 1977 and shared over 38 years together.
Born and raised in Woonsocket he was son of the late Wildor and Lucienne (Leclerc) Grondines. He was lifelong resident of the city.

Bobby rustled up his inner strength and stamina to be able to walk his daughter Lisa down the aisle at her wedding this past October, it was one of the most wonderful moments of his life.
In addition to his wife of 38 years Suds is surivived by a son David K. Grondines of Tennessee and daughter Lisa L. Mandarini and her husband, Paul, of Scituate. He was the brother of the late Leo Grondines and brother-in-law of Madeleine Grondines of South Carolina. He is also survived by his nephews Darryl, Gary and Keith Grondines.
His funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers and in recognition of Bobby’s love of the outdoors memorial donations may be made to wildlife preservation.
