Obituary

SALEM – Pauline M. (Zawacka) Hincman, 77, wife of Raymond C. Hincman of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, following a short illness.

Born in Tewksbury, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lucille (Cameron) Zawacka and was a resident of Salem for most of her life.

Pauline worked the polls on all election day for many years as a Warden in Ward One. She was a communicant of the St. John the Baptist Church.

She worked at Unitrol in Salem in the early 1970’s and then began her candy career working for several candy shops in Salem, spending 30 years with Ye Olde Pepper Candy Companie until her retirement in 2013.

Pauline loved going to the theater; especially with her granddaughters. She also loved to travel.

Besides her husband, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage, she is survived by 3 sons, Michael Hincman of Salem, Thomas and his wife Lorie Hincman of Brandon, FL, Jeffrey and his wife Danielle Hincman of Lynn, 5 grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband Daniel Nunnelly of Tampa, FL, Kaliegh Hincman and Jaimee Hincman, both of Brandon, FL, Jenna Hincman and Kierra Hincman, both of Lynn and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 8:45 AM from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church, Salem. Visiting hours are Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 3 to 5 PM. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
