Katherine Louise LaCroix (McAllen) age 95 of Milton, MA passed away December 15th surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in South Boston, she graduated from South Boston High School. She worked for the Boston Public Schools for 20 years before retiring and previously worked as a Paralegal for Ropes and Gray in Boston for several years. Katherine loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, loved the beach and the outdoors and skiing at Burke Mountain and was an avid reader. She was the eternal optimist and always looked at things with rose colored glasses. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. LaCroix. Mother of Joseph C. LaCroix of Norwell, Jeanne L. Coco of S.C., Jacqueline K. Ritchie of WI, and Geraldine “Gerry” Racine of Wayland. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Church Milton Saturday morning at 11. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Saturday morning prior to the mass from 9:30 to 10:30. Private burial at the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
