McDonald, John F., Sr. "Mac" of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, June 5, 2005.

Beloved husband of the late Helen M. (Donovan) McDonald. Loving father of Mary E. MacDonald of Quincy, Carol A. Sasso of Methuen, John F., Jr. of Quincy, Jean M. Brogna of Weymouth, Joseph W. of Quincy, Deborah A. of Quincy, Paul R. of Buffalo, NY and Timothy J. of Quincy. Brother of David R. of So. Boston and Mary M. Coughlin of Middleboro. Also survived by 12 grandchildren.

Mr. McDonald is a retired Postal Carrier who worked in the Uphams Corner section of Dorchester. He retired in 1992 after working for 30 years. John was currently working in the faculty cafeteria at Boston College High School in Dorchester for the past 14 years. He was also the equipment manager for the B.C. High Football Team. Mr. McDonald is a longtime member of St. Ann's Parish in Wollaston. He belonged to the St. Ann's Men's and Companion's Bowling Leagues. He was also a head usher at the church.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Thursday at 9 AM.

Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10 AM.

Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

Donations in memory of Mr. McDonald may be made to Boston College High School Scholarship Fund, 150 Morrissey Blvd Boston, MA 02125.
