TAUNTON – Joan Elizabeth Loura, 56, died peacefully at her Taunton home on Dec. 11, 2015.
She was 56.
Born in Taunton and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Filomena (Chaves) Loura.
A participant of Cooperative Productions, Joan loved spending time with her family.
She especially enjoyed going for drives on a sunny day.
Survivors include three brothers, Joseph Loura and his significant other Linda Lewis of Taunton, Antonio Loura of Taunton, and Caesar Loura of RI; five sisters, Mari Slavick of East Taunton, Lydia Costello and her husband Raymond of East Taunton, her twin sister Jean Loura Ruszala and her husband Robert of CT, Rosemarie Yelle and her husband Michael of Taunton, and Celeste Paquette and her husband William of Taunton; many nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
