Obituary

Jayne R. (Hendrich) Askew, a born again Christian, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Plymouth on December 6, 2015. She was an awesome wife and best friend of W. Kevin Askew and devoted mother to Greyson W. Askew. Born in Smith Center, Kansas on October 27, 1966, she was the loving daughter of Harry and Marjorie Hendrich and beloved sister of Rick Hendrich and his wife Kristie and adoring aunt to Tom, Layna, Lindsay, Tyler, and Marie. Jayne moved with Kevin to Plymouth in 2009, having previously resided in Petaluma, CA. She received her undergraduate degree in Science at Bob Jones University, in SC and then obtained her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida. Jayne enjoyed reading, solving word puzzles, spending time with family and friends, studying the bible and praying tirelessly for others. Jayne never feared death because her eternity in heaven had been secured by her unwavering faith in the salvation provided by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:4, 3:22-28,4:25; John 3:15-18; 2 Corinthians 5:8 -21 and Titus 3:5-7). Besides leaving her immediate family, Jayne also leaves her many wonderful friends in Plymouth/Boston, Petaluma (CA), Tampa (FL), Atlanta (GA), etc. All are welcome to attend the Memorial Funeral Service in celebration of Jayne’s life on Sunday, Dec. 20th, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the New Testament Church, 1120 Long Pond Rd., Plymouth, MA. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the New Hope Prison Ministry (website for the ministry is: www.newhopecm.org). For online guestbook visit: www.cartmelldavis.com.
