Claire A. Gaudette, age 55, passed away at home on December 5, 2015. She was born in Chicopee on July 27, 1960 to the late Ronald and Maryanne (Perusse) Gaudette. Claire was a lifelong resident of Chicopee and worked as an office manager for many years at First Notice Systems. She is predeceased by her daughter Amanda Galipeau who passed away in 1988. She leaves two brothers Paul Gaudette of Great Barrington and Donald Gaudette and his wife Cheryl of Chicopee; one sister Jean Kirchner and her husband Kurt of Chicopee; 5 nieces Melissa Kirkpatrick, Heidi Kirchner, Brittany Kamyk, Amy Kirchner and Kali Kirchner and two nephews Tyler and Joseph Kirchner. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1 PM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield Street, Chicopee, MA with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday December 19, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM. The family requests casual attire for the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Claire’s name to the Juvenile Diabetes Association at JDRF’s website at www.jdrf.com.
