Carolyn Rowland Hannah, 51, of Omega passed away last week at her residence. Her family will celebrate her life in private; and her ashes will be placed in the Pacific Ocean, as she requested.
Born July 4, 1964, Carolyn was the eldest daughter of the late Henry and Reba Rowland. Carolyn was deeply dedicated to her family and served as a surrogate mother to many wayward youths. She would have preferred to be remembered as a strong, loving and honest woman.
Mrs. Hannah is survived by her husband, Rufus Hannah of Omega; her daughter, Patricia Lowe of Omega; two sons, Chad Lowe and Chet Hannah, both of Tifton; and five grandsons, Nathan, Orlando, Hayden, Austin and Ethan.
