James P. Wise, 59, of Hawthorne Road, Greenville, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at his home, after a long illness. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Folan) Wise. They were married for 35 years. He was the father of Heather A. and Daniel J. Wise, both of Smithfield.
Born in Providence, RI, he lived in Greenville since 1987. He was a Vice President for the former Clarke & Coombs Manufacturing Company in Providence. He had been a salesman for American Alarms and the Brinks Security Systems retiring seven years ago.
He was a 4th degree member of the Knight of Columbus, Adams Assembly and was also a coach for the Smithfield Youth Soccer Association.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held SATURDAY at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Friday 4-7 pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow Street, Providence, RI 02903
