Franz Robert Poblenz, 65, of Franklin died December 9 in Milford Regional Medical Center, he was the husband of Marie J. Ouellette and the late Audrey (Haywood) Poblenz who died in 1988.
Born in Boston, April 10, 1950, Mr. Poblenz was a lifelong Franklin resident.
He had been a mechanic for the Siemen’s Corporation for many years.
Franz had been a member of the Franklin Police Auxiliary. He enjoyed target shooting and cars, especially MOPAR.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Eric Poblenz and his wife Karen of Manchester, New Hampshire, Kurt Poblenz and his wife Joey of Sherborn, Kelly LaBonte and her husband Jason of Bellingham and Joanna Ouellette and her husband Josh Chaplin of Alexandria, Virginia.
He is also survived by his sister Cheryl Griffin and her husband Robert Griffin of Bellingham and his grandchildren,
Jessica, Danielle, Eric Jr. and Renee Poblenz and Audrey and Dylan LaBonte.
A celebration of this life will be held on Saturday, December 12 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 11:00 -1:00p.m.
