Ellen K. (Dunn) Provencher age 68 of Lowell, MA, died Monday at Wingate at Belvidere in Lowell, MA.
Ellen was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Clayton and Claire (Murphy) Dunn. She grew up in Lawrence, MA, where she graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She later attended Salem State College. She was a resident of Lowell for the past 8 years, formerly of Methuen and Lawrence.
Ellen was a social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She volunteered at local shelters, and was also a special education teacher’s aide for the Lawrence Public Schools.
Ellen is survived by her sons: Kevin and his wife Kathleen Provencher of Worcester, MA, Shaun Provencher and his wife Alison Cashin of Jamaica Plain, MA.
Brothers: Jeffrey Dunn of No. Hampton, NH, Martin Dunn of Lawrence, MA, and Daniel Dunn of Salem, NH
Grandchildren: Luc, Dylan, and Oscar Provencher
Former Husband: Raymond Provencher of Haverhill, MA

Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial Mass on Monday, Dec. 14th at 11 AM at St. Monica’s Church, Methuen, MA. Urn burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
