Ardeth Parrish (Wellman) age 86 of Sharon passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on December 8th. Born in Boston she was raised in Mansfield. Ardeth graduated from Mansfield High School and earned her degree in teaching from Wheelock College. Mrs. Parrish has lived in Sharon since 1954, where she taught in the Public School System. Ardeth was a member of the Fortnightly Club in Sharon, The Sharon Historical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Beloved wife of Robert E., loving mother of Pamela Wood and her husband Jack, Brenda Carroll and her husband Jim all of Norton, Dana Parrish of Sharon, and Robert Parrish, Jr. and his husband Michael Carey of Boston. Also survived by her 6 grandchildren, and her great-granddaughter. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Memorial Service Saturday morning at 10:30 at the First Baptist Church of Sharon, 2 S. Main St., Sharon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private.
