Clare A. Fantasia (McGrath) age 86 of Canton formerly of S. Boston passed away Dec. 7th at the Norwood Hospital. Born and raised in South Boston. Clare loved spending her time with her family. Her many hobbies included singing, dancing, cake decorating , art, and music. She enjoyed her visits to the Laboure Center in S. Boston, the S. Boston and Canton Senior Centers. Clare attended every St. Patrick’s Day Parade and watched the Red Sox play in 3 World Series. Beloved wife of the late Vincent “Jim”. Loving mother of Richard & his wife Anne Marie of Marlboro, Thomas and his wife Melissa of Canton, James and his wife Marcy of Ipswich, and the late Michael. Devoted grandmother of Lynn, Tom, Cory, Diana, Katie, Erin, Krissy, Ryan and Kaley. Also survived by her great-grandson Jackson, her daughter in law Janet Fantasia of Reading, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church 700 Washington St. Canton Friday morning 10:30. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
