Brian J. Dube , 62 of Salem, passed away peacefully, in Danvers, on Sunday, December 6, 2015, following a long illness. Brian was the son of the late Roger and Grace (McDonald) Dube. Born in Peabody and raised in Salem he was a graduate of Salem High, Class of 1971. Brian had a very succesful career in software development and was employed by Varian, The Town of Danvers and most recently Electronic Data Systems until his retirement due to illness.
Brian loved camping in Maine, boating and summer vacation on Long Lake with his family. He also enjoyed music, attending concerts and was an avid Boston sports fan.
Brian is survived by his wife Janice Dube of Salem, his loving daughter Katelyn of Salem, his son Jason and his wife Kimberly of Stamford, CT and grandchildren, Aidan and Austin. He also leaves three brothers and their wives, James and Katherine Dube of Beverly, Glenn and Bernadette Dube of Long Island, NY, Steven and Leslie Dube of Merrimac, two sisters, Doreen and her husband Perry Larson and Robin Dube of Portland, OR as well as many nieces and nephews and close friend, Andrea MacIntyre of Gloucester. He was predeceased by his brother Roger Dube, Jr.
