Lena L. Lycan

Lena L. Lycan, 84, of Anderson died on December 7, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born on November 8, 1931 in Muncie to Eugene and Theodora (Auberson) Smith.
She graduated from Cowan High School and was a homemaker. She loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her 4 children, Howard Lycan, Joan (husband, Ronald) Banks, Ed (wife, Fran) Tedrow all of Anderson and Thomas Lycan of Florida; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Bruce (wife, Judy) Thomas, Harold (wife, Joyce) Thomas, and Lois Arnold all of Muncie, Harry (Kay) Thomas of Yorktown, and Dean Sells of Ridgeville; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lowell L. Lycan; 6 brother and sisters; 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob Banks and Miranda Flowers.
Cremation will take place. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
