Joan A. (Malone) Lynn, age 80, died peacefully at Beth Israel Hospital after a brief illness while surrounded by her loving family on December 5, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Forst) Malone. She was the widow of John P. (Jack) Lynn of Raynham. A resident of Raynham since 1964, she was a communicant of Raynham’s St. Ann’s Church. Her passion was always her family and her church. She cherished her time spent with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren. She was a Eucharist Minister, a CCD teacher and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was the recipient of the Marian Medal for her dedicated service to St. Ann’s Church. She leaves five children, Joan of Halifax, John P. and his wife, Joyce of Raynham, Michael and his wife, Maria of Raynham, Kevin and his wife, Kathy of Middleboro and Patricia Wagner and her husband Jim of Raynham. She leaves her grandchildren, John P. III, Patrick Michael and his wife Taylor, Patrick Taylor, Matthew, Olivia, Samantha, Robert, Kate, Andrew and Lilly. She also is survived by her step-grandchildren, Phillip, Rebecca and Patricia Pereira. She leaves a brother John Malone and his wife, Ann and two sisters Margaret Merli and Agnes Crossan, sister-in-law, Trudy Malone, Dolores Malone, Margaret Lynn and brother-in-law Martin Flanagan and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by her infant son, Joseph Lynn. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Saturday, Dec. 12th at 9 am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 pm. Burial will be at Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham.
