Obituary

Mrs. Anna M. Leek, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away peacefully following a short illness, at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her loving family, December 3, 2015. She was 93. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Leek who passed away in 1979. The couple met on the Boston Common and were married on April 1, 1945. Born in Woburn she was one of seven children of the late Percy and Margaret (Tenney) Boutwell.

Anna was raised and educated in Woburn and was a 1945 graduate of Woburn High School. She was a woman of strong faith and was an active parishioner of St. Charles Church for most of her life. Anna worked as an assembler with the Raytheon Corporation retiring in 1985 following many years of employment.

Anna was the devoted mother of the late Margaret Lynch. Cherished mother-in-law of Paul Lynch Sr. and his loving companion Suzanne Jaynes of Peabody. She was the loving grandmother of Molly Clements and her husband Dan of NH, Katelyn Lynch and Shannon Lynch both of Peabody, and the late Paul Lynch Jr. Loving great grandmother of Deaira, Jordan, Ava, Gavin and Antonio. Sadly she is predeceased by her siblings; the late Dorothy Kinosky, Terence Kenney, Granville, Mary, Daniel, and Clifford Boutwell. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Thursday, Dec. 10th, at 11 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. In lieu of flowers contributions in Anna's memory may be made to the Woburn Senior Center, 144 School St., Woburn, MA, 01801.
