Mrs. Patricia A. (Casey) Tripp, of Taunton, died Saturday, December 5 in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, following a brief illness. She was the former wife of John S. Tripp. She was born 74 years ago in Providence, R.I., the daughter of the late Edmund J. and Adrienne M. (Dusseault) Casey. She was educated in Taunton, having graduated from the former St. Jacques Grammar School and Taunton High School. Prior to her retirement, Patricia had been employed as a Mortgage Loan Servicer for Rockland Trust in Middleboro for several years. She was previously employed in similar positions for the former Taunton Savings Bank and the New Bedford Institute for Savings. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 4 sons: John C. Tripp and his wife, Viviane of Carmel, IN., Barry W. Tripp and his wife Jennifer of Arlington, MA., Christopher L. Tripp and his wife, Kelley of W. Roxbury, and Daniel E. Tripp and his wife, Lynn of Raynham; 13 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was also the sister of the late Brian Casey of Taunton.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Friday, December 11 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
