Obituary

Cecilia V. (Gagnon) Lacasse, 90, of Manchester, died December 5, 2015 at Maple Leaf Health Care Center surrounded by her family after a period of declining health.
She was born in Rumford, ME on May 8, 1925 to Jean Baptiste and Blanche (Cyr) Gagnon. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Cecilia was a charter member of the Hillsborough County Home Guild and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and the Blue Army. She was also a 25 year member of the Presentation of Mary Lay Associates. At Ste. Marie Parish, she was a Girl Scout Leader for six years and a Cursillesta.
She enjoyed traveling, but her greatest enjoyment was her love and devotion to God and her family.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Gagnon; her second husband, Marcel Lacasse; a daughter, Therese Chalifour; a brother, Armand Gagnon; a son in law, Cory Lindsey and a step daughter, Pauline Dallaire.
The family includes four children, Donald J. Gagnon and his wife, Carmen, of Goffstown, Diane L. Lindsey of Bedford, Dick Gagnon and his wife, Carol, of Goffstown and Anne Marie St. Germain and her husband, Guy, of Manchester; a step daughter, Claire DeSantis of California; 18 grandchildren, Ken, Scott, Catherine, Nicole, Beth, Jimmy, Karina, Jessica, Lea, Marissa, Aimee, Jacob, David, Maria, Paul, Denis, Anissa and Mat; 17 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeannette St. Laurent and her husband, Paul, of Epping and Doris Stacy and her husband, Ronald, of Candia; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
