Frank Gouveia, 76, of S. Dartmouth died Friday, December 4, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Muriel J. (Boudreau) Gouveia. Born in New Bedford, he was son of the late Manuel and Conceicao (Quintal) Gouveia. Mr. Gouveia was the owner/operator of Gouveias's Backhoe Service, Acushnet.
Including his wife, survivors include 4 daughters: Jeanette Gouveia-Lawrence and her husband Gerry of Acushnet, Robin Simoes and her husband David of Westport, Michelle Pozza and her husband Victor of Bourne and Rhonda J. Roberts and her husband Wyatt of Florence, MS; a brother: Alfred Gouveia of Wareham; 3 sisters: Alice Fortuna of NJ, Georgianna Amancio of Dartmouth and Rozalina Sabino of Marion; 9 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
