Reed Stewart Heath, age 86, entered into rest on November 19, 2015 at Sun Terrace Assisted Living in Prosser, Washington. He was born on October 6, 1929 in Sunnyside, Washington where he lived until graduating from high school. He spent a lot of time working, as an iron worker, in Alaska, and also worked in Arizona. He came back and forth to the Yakima Valley until settling in Prosser after retiring.
In 1991 Reed and Sharon Ann Jones were married in Prosser, where the couple made their home.
Reed was a member of the Prosser Eagles and Prosser VFW.
Reed is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Heath of Prosser; step-daughter, Genia L. Huske of Kennewick; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Reed S. Heath, Jr; stepsons, Timothy L. Handy and Clarence W. “Bill” Handy.
