HOFFMAN, George K. Of Dedham, December 2nd. Retired Dedham Police Office. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor M. (Hogan) Hoffman. Devoted father of Janet Girard and her husband Russell of Norwood, George Hoffman and his wife Susan of Dedham, Margaret Hoffman of Dedham and the late William Hoffman. Brother of Frank Hoffman of Florida. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. George was a WWII Navy Veteran and member of the American Legion Post 13.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty and Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Monday, December 7 at 8 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly inivited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Expressions of sympathy may be made in George's memory to the Rev. William F. Hogan Scholarship Fund at Stonehill College.
