William T. "Skip" Wilson, III, 74, of New Bedford died December 1, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Geraldine M. (Costa) Wilson; they had been married for 52 years this past May.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late William T. Wilson, Jr. and Margarite R. (Sullivan) Wilson, he lived in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth in 2007.
Mr. Wilson was formerly employed by Titleist for many years until his retirement.
He enjoyed music, watching old movies and the company of his family, his parrot "Nikki" and his dog "Min-Chi."
Survivors include his wife; 2 daughters, Karyn A. Allain and Kendra M. Sylvia and her husband Wayne, all of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Brenden W. Allain and Candice L. Sylvia.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 9 AM in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
