Naomi Lee (Golden) Whitmill

Naomi Lee (Golden) Whitmill, 87, of Anderson died Dec. 1, 2015 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born June 3, 1928 in Independence, Ky., the daughter of Thomas H. and Eva Alace (Dennis) Golden.
She was a nursery school and kindergarten teacher at Park Place Church of God Children's Center for over 30 years.
She was a longtime member of Park Place Church of God. She was also a member of
the Home Ec Club, Jo March Club, Euchre Club and Companero Club.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and caring for others.
She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Whitmill of Anderson whom she married August 19, 1950; son, Ron Whitmill of Anderson, daughter, Jan (Curt) Foulks of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Mackenzie Foulks and Evan Foulks; brother, Ray (Madge) Chamberlin of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Park Place Church of God, 501 College Drive; Anderson, IN 46012, with Dr. David Markle officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from noon until the service at 2 p.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to Park Place Church of God Children's Center.
