Edward “Zeke” Revels, 61, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Luke Cemetery, Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Revels was born October 18, 1954, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Edward & Jean Walker Revels. A 1972 graduate of Fitzgerald High School, Mr. Revels was known as “The Pizza Man” having worked for Domino’s Pizza for almost 25 years. He loved to play the guitar and sing and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Lebanon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Towler Revels; a daughter, April Revels; two grandchildren: Johnathan Matthews and Daniel Matthews; and an aunt, Janice & Walter Sumner, all of Fitzgerald. Many cousins also survive.
