Carl V. Anderson 88 of Marlborough and formerly of Framingham died unexpectedly Sunday at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.
He was the beloved husband of the late Jean (Robinson)Anderson who died in 2000.
A Framingham resident for 55 years, he was born in Boston, the son of the late Carl V and Emily (Hathaway) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a Civil Engineer for the HNTB Company of Boston for 39 years, retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed photography and family genealogy, and was a longtime devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Framingham.
He was a graduate of Northeastern University and was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving in World War II.
He is survived by his three sons Carl V Anderson III and his wife Kathleen of Marlborough, Mark C Anderson and his partner Michele McClellan
of Lowell, David R Anderson and his wife Megan of Wakefield, and 4 grandchildren, Bryan, Michael, Tom, and Molly Anderson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church 25 BrookStreet Framingham.
Burial will follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery Framingham
Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common
