James “Jimmy” House, 66, of Omega passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Tifton. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Omega United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Griffin officiating. Mr. House will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 1, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mr. House will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The family will be meeting at the residence of Mary Jo and Allen Mullis, 1387 Ty Ty-Omega Road in Tifton.
Mr. House’s nephews, Dennis House, Jr. Michael House, Christopher House, Josh House, Clint Garrett and Michael McMillan will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Dunn, Robbie McBrayer, Zack Golden, Marty Powell, Jackie Crumley, Jerry Crumley, Charles Sumner, Thomas Varnadore, David Scarbor, Randy Scarbor and Roy Jones.

Mr. House was the son of the late George Emmett House and Eddie Mae Mason House. He was a retired farmer and member of Omega United Methodist Church. He was a devoted daddy, papa and brother.
Mr. House is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Skye Green Hall of Ocilla and Coty Green Hamman and her husband, Dan of Shreveport, Louisiana; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Sonny House, Dennis and Teresa House and Greg House and special friend, LaDonna Stripling, all of Omega; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Allen Mullis of Tifton; three grandchildren, Breyer Johnson, Elizabeth Hamman and Victoria Hamman; six nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.
