Obituary

Mr. John V. Ridgley Sr., 77, of Dracut died Saturday, November 28th at Fairhaven Health Center in Lowell. The son of the late Frederick and Marguerite (LaMarsh) Ridgley he was born in Cambridge, MA. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Ridgley spent most of his life in the Metro Boston area till 12 years ago when he moved to Dracut. He worked as a technical writer for the computer industry at many places including Digital and Wang. Mr. Ridgley enjoyed reading, cooking, and baking. He was an avid Boston sports fan and loved to spend time with his family. Mr. Ridgley was pre-deceased by three sisters Elaine Jenkins, Rowena Perkins, Marjorie Snell and one brother Douglas Ridgley. He was survived by two daughters; Kristen Ridgley of Dracut and Jacqui Ridgley of Medford. One son; John Ridgley Jr. Of West Palm Beach, FL, three grandchildren; Marcus, Trace, and Chloe Ridgley. three sisters; Mildred Zingone, Joan Sneed, and Maxine Ladouceur. Three brothers; Frederick, William, and Lawrence Ridgley, and his former wife Diane (Kilmer) Ridgley. There are several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 5th from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home. 1400 Broadway Road, Dracut, MA.(978) 683-2706.
