Alanson Leonard Davis, 88, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in his home.
His wife of 34 years, Pauline C. (Davis) Davis died August 7, 1991.
He leaves behind his children; Leonard Davis and his wife Debbie, Justine O’Brien, Geraldine McKinnon and her husband Donald, Bernice Rusack and her husband Kevin, Florence, Pauline and Julie Davis, grandchildren; Stephanie, Emily, Serena, Farrah, Tabitha, Leonard,Billy and Michael, several great grandchildren, a brother, Roger Davis and many nieces and nephews.
He was born in Sutton, the son of the late Anson and Bernice (Bolster) Davis and has lived in Charlton for many years.
Mr. Davis was also predeceased by brothers and sisters, Mabel Dufresne, Anson ’Buzzer’ Davis, Florence Scully, Colby Davis, Robert ‘Honey’ Davis, Lester ‘Red’ Davis, Thelma Ferdorczuk and Norman Davis, and a son-in-law, William J. O'Brien.
He honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII, then worked for 33 years at the former Cranston Print Works Co. in Webster, before retiring in 1989.

A Graveside Service will be Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 10AM at North Cemetery, Route 12 in Oxford. (Please meet at the Cemetery)
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to: Meals on Wheel, c/o Tri-Valley Elder Services, 10 Mill St., Dudley, MA. 01571.
