Marta L. Ashman
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, November 24, 2015, Mrs. Marta L. Ashman, 65, loving wife of 34 years to Ken Ashman.
Marta grew up in the Pittsburg area but moved to Georgia 24 years ago. She taught French for the Columbia County School System at Lakeside, Greenbrier, and Grovetown High Schools for 15 years. Her passion was her family and her students. She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Family members, in addition to her husband, include her daughter: Jennifer Wooten; son: Adam Ashman; grandchildren: Eli and Zoe Wooten; sister: Susan Alrutz; and niece: Megan Moore.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating.
