Daughter of the late Arthur and Florence St. John. Devoted Mother of Carole Buker and her husband David of Braintree, John Welch and his wife Sally of Whitman, and Stephen Welch and his wife Nancy of Scituate, and the late Susan Welch. Cherished sister of the late Edna Logan, Rita Welch, Mary Montani, Arthur St. John, Ruth St. John, and Fredrick St. John. Loving "Nana" of 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Funeral from the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Monday morning at 11. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 12:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday evening from 4:00-7:00PM. Interment at Blue Hill Cemetery. Former owner of the Susan Welch Nursing Home in Middleboro and Administrator of The John Scott Nursing Home in Braintree.
