James W. Riley

James W. Riley, 84, of Anderson, died peacefully in his sleep November 22, 2015.
He was born April 29, 1931 in Anderson the son of James B. and Esta I. (Eastes) Riley.
He graduated from Daleville High School, served in the US Airforce and retired from Delco Remy in 1981. He was a volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 322 and was a member of the Midwest Cherokee Alliance and the Sons and Daughters of Elmo Scruggs Rendezvous Group.
He is survived by 2 children, Patricia (Terry) Henderson and James (Rebecca) Riley Jr, 5 grandchildren,2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Thomas Riley and Bob Riley and a sister, Carolyn Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Warner, Jack, and David Lee Riley, a sister, Donna Douglas, first wife, Mildred and second wife, Alzina.
Cremation was chosen with a memorial service to be held by family at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Historical Society.
