Obituary

Frank M. Warren Jr., 89 of Foxboro and formerly of Franklin died Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Maples Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Wrentham. He was the husband of the late Margaret M. (Carrigan) Warren who died in 2008.

Born in Waterbury, CT on July 16, 1926, he was the son of the late Frank M. and Florence (Kimpton) Warren.
Frank married Margaret on April 29, 1951. They lived in Franklin from 1956 until moving to Foxboro in 1993.

Frank proudly served as a Yeoman 3rd Class in the Navy during WWII. After the service, he worked as a Route Salesman for a number of food companies until his retirement.

Frank was an avid New England sports fan. He enjoyed playing tennis in his spare time, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Frank M. Warren III and his wife Eileen of Dennis, Christine M. (Warren) Mahan of Franklin, and Jeff Warren and his wife Melissa of Medway.

He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He is the brother of Barbara Wahlmeier of Oregon and the late Sherwood Warren.

The family would like to thank the wonderful people at The Maples Rehabilitation Center, Milford Hospital, The Franklin Senior Center, and Dr. Luis Carreiro and staff for their care and kindness.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 27 at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin from 10:00am-12:00pm, followed by a service at the funeral home at 12:00PM.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of Flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Research Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
