Jose Rivera Verdusco
Passed away on November 20,215 surrounded by family and friends in Ojai Valley Community Hospital. He was 89 years old.
Jose was born in Uruapan Mich. Mexico and has been an Ojai Valley residence for the last 40 years. He was known as an excellent painter. He was a professional painter and farmer for many years of his life. He worked at Pierpont Cottage caring for the ranch.
He leaves 5 daughters Virginia, Rosa, Alejandra, Lupita, and Maria de Jesus; his wife Maria D. Morales; he leaves several brothers and sisters; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 6 to 9pm in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, 185 St. Thomas Drive Ojai, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 11am in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church with interment to immediately follow in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
