New Bedford – Barbara (Smith) Erickson, 93, of Turtle Rock Farm, Westport died Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. She was the widow of Karl H. Erickson.
She was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Julius T. and Annette (Ashley) Smith, and had resided in Westport for most of her life. She was a member of the Allen’s Neck Friends Meeting, Dartmouth and was a member of the Allen’s Neck Community Club. Mrs. Erickson was the owner/operator of Cubbyhole Antiques. She enjoyed playing croquet.
She is survived by 2 sons: Karl L. Erickson and his wife Lois of Eau Claire, WI and Donald S. Erickson and his wife Beatrice of Reading, MA; a daughter: Ann E. Mason and her husband Richard K. of Westport; a sister: Jean Parsons of Westport; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Lauchlan Smith.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, June 6, 2005 at the Allen’s Neck Friends Meeting, Dartmouth at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will be in Allen’s Neck Cemetery, Dartmouth.
