Obituary


Theodore T. Zapora, 98, of Hooksett, died November 19, 2015 at Villa Crest after a brief illness.

He was born in Manchester June 10, 1917 the son of Frank and Nora (Bara) Zapora. He had been a Hooksett resident most of his life.

He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and piloted 35 missions. He was shot down during the Battle of the Bulge.

Mr. Zapora owned and operated Zapora Motor Transport for 40 years.

He was a member of St. Catherine Church; Knights of Columbus Council 4961 and a charter member of the Fr. Langlois Council.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Jean Zapora, in 2011.

He leaves his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Tuerk) Zapora of Hooksett; a son, Thomas Zapora and his wife, Linda, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Taylor Zapora of Boston, MA, Alexander Zapora and Kelsey Zapora, both of Auburn; many nieces and nephews.



A committal service took place on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown, Rd., Manchester.
