Linda Fletcher, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, November 19, 2015, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Crossview Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Parmer and the Rev. David Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Eureka Cemetery, Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Fletcher was born January 30, 1947, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Lawrence & Ometta Whitley Fletcher. She was a 1965 graduate of Irwin County High School. She was a homemaker and loved arranging flowers and painting. She attended Crossview Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Tisha Hullett of Irwin County; two grandchildren: Hunter Hullett and Brayden “Buck” Hullett; her children’s father, Jimmy Thompson of Irwin County; five brothers: Larry & Gloria Fletcher of Donalsonville, Rick & Brenda Fletcher of Waterloo, Mike Fletcher, Todd Fletcher, and Joey Fletcher of Irwin County; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamara Thompson.
