SOMERSET – Rose (Silvia) Paul, 94, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2015. Born in Fall River, Rose was employed in the garment industry and was a member of the ILGWU until retirement. She was the wife of the late Arthur Paul.
She leaves 2 children: Thomas Paul of Winthrop, MA and Susan Matthews of Somerset, MA; granddaughters: Stephanie Matthews-White of Somerset, MA and Julie Baker of Houston, TX; 2 greatgrandchildren: Daniel Matthews and Aiyana Baker of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Rose was the sister of Joseph Silvia of Westport, MA and the late Manuel Silvia, Louise Levesque, and Mary Pires.
Her funeral will take place from Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Monday, November 23rd at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in St John of God Church, Somerset at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
