Laconia-----Shelley M. Ellington of Laconia, NH passed away peacefully in her home with her two daughters by her side on November 7th 2015.
Shelley was born on February 9th, 1949 to Lois W. and Howard McGuire in Hutchinson, KS. On December 28, 1969 she married her best friend and love William B. Ellington (deceased March 28th, 2003) in Wichita, KS. Together, they moved to Boston, MA and later to Concord, NH where they raised their two daughters, Angela L. Bailey and Christina F. Ellington who now survive them. They are also survived by their son in law Mark L. Bailey and their four grand children, Katelyn , Mitchell , Abigail, and Joseph Bailey.
Shelley worked as an executive assistant in Boston for many years before becoming a real estate agent with Century 21 in Bristol, NH. She will be remembered for her joyous smile and laugh, her love of people and family, her hard work ethic and her never-give-up attitude.
The family will be spreading both Shelley and Williams ashes later this month as a tribute to their long lasting love of each other.
