LALLY, John F. of Winthrop, suddenly, on November 14, 2015. Devoted husband of Donna (Voke) Lally. Dear brother of Michelle Champagne and her late husband Richard of Stoneham, Edward Lally Jr. and his wife Mary of Winthrop, Kathleen Campbell and her husband John of Revere, Christine Livingston and her husband John of Mashpee, Joanne Reynolds and her husband Marc of CA, and the late Ellen and Justin Lally. He was the beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Sat, Nov 21, at 10am. A Funeral Mass will follow in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Fri, Nov 20, from 4-8pm. John was a member of the Cottage Park Yacht Club, the Winchester Boat Club, The Snipe Class International Racing Association, and the United Steel Workers-Local #12012. He is currently employed by National Grid Gas Co. as a Service Technician. John was an avid and competitive sailor in the snipe class of sailboats and competed in many regattas both nationally and internationally.
