Sharon E. Mann, 66, of Woonsocket died Sunday at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the loving wife of Mark M. Mann. They were married on September 19, 1980.
Born in Battle Creek, Michigan she was a daughter of the late Dale and Imo (Bolyen) Eaton. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1967. In 1974 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in music from Simpson College in California. Sharon resided in Woonsocket since 1987 and had previously lived in San Francisco, CA, Washington D.C., Methuen and Lowell, MA.
Sharon was employed as a substitute teacher at Woonsocket High School for several years. She was a volunteer for many activities and sports events at Woonsocket High School. She had a special talent for arts, crafts, scrapbooking and sewing. Sharon expressed her passion for music by playing a variety of instruments and in her earlier years she toured with a singing group.
Sharon will be remembered for her outgoing and friendly persona.
In addition to her husband of over 35 years she is survived by a son Nathaniel E. Mann and his wife, Andria, of Washington D.C., and a daughter Adrienne E. Mann of Woonsocket. She was the sister of Larry Eaton of Battle Creek Michigan. She is also survived by her extended family.
Her memorial service will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Visiting hours are Saturday morning from 10-11 am prior to the service. Burial will be private.
